The product: Monu Pure Control Cleansing Mask and Purifying Facial Wash
The claim: This duel action set is designed to give a thoroughly good clean using natural oils. The Cleansing Mask is crafted with camphor and geranium to invigorate and witch hazel to tighten and cleanse pores, whilst the Purifying Facial Wash’s lemon and grapefruit blend is designed to refresh and revitalise.
The Cocosa verdict: When it comes to beauty routines I have always abided by the same rule – so long as you’ve got a good cleanser and SPF moisturiser then you’re on safe ground. From any reliable cleanser you want something that will really scrub away the remnants of a long day without drying out your complexion. Monu’s Purifying Facial Wash did exactly that. It gently exfoliated and softened with natural salicylic acid to leave my skin feeling gorgeously fresh. I was initially slightly weary about using the Cleansing Mask as past products have overzealously stripped my skin. I needn’t have worried though. This one cleverly combatted the build up of wind and city bashed skin, without playing havoc with my complexion’s natural balance.
